There are quite a few trouble spots in the area between Cottman Avenue and the Pennypack
Creek that need heavy attention; from Town Watch, the Police and the local citizens who live in
and around there.  These areas are patrolled heavily by Town Watch when we are out on
patrol; but we cannot be out on patrol 24 hours/7 days a week.  We need your help to help us
get rid of the problems!
These are areas that we regularly see some sort of trouble; whether it is vandalism, graffiti,
underage drinking, narcotics, fights, etc.  Please be vigilant and report any trouble to the Police
Department by calling 9-1-1.  Be very descriptive to the dispatcher as to what you see.  If a
problem is happening at the moment you call 9-1-1; please tell the dispatcher that it is "in
progress".
*  Forrest School (front steps) - kids hang out on front steps.  Graffiti has been a
   past problem
*
Forrest School yard - kids illegally gaining access to the school yard and/or
   playground.  There has been drug use and underage drinking in the "Fire Tower"
   area closest to Bleigh St.
*
Forrest School (new bldg) - front steps on Walker Street.  Be aware of kids
   climbing up on the school roof.  Report that immediately if seen.
*
Graffiti has been a major problem along Frankford Avenue; particularly these
   locations: the rear of Firstrust Bank; driveways in the rear of the 7300-7500
   blocks of Frankford Avenue; and the billboard on the roof at Frankford Avenue
   and Oakmont Street.  Be on the lookout throughout the area for kids with
   backpacks on at night acting suspicious.
